  • Well signposted trails can be made without Guide, moderate effort between 5 to 7 km there and back. You can smell the Woods and the noise of the animals. I spent only the day, but there is no lodging option (without meals). Trails and lodgings, only with advance booking, the site pay a value. Don't go without a reservation. Be silent. Take your trash don't throw in nature. Thanks

  • The TNF of São Francisco de Paula is a Sustainable conservation unit in the municipality of São Francisco de Paula-RS. I participate in scientific expeditions within the unit for over ten years. Several scientific research with various taxonomic groups are held in the FLONA. Numerous graduate programs had their dissertations and theses developed partly or wholly in this area YET. The location is great for field disciplines with classes for undergraduate and graduate studies in biological sciences. The unit is home to several endangered species and also serves as an ecological corridor for the transit of species.

  • We stayed the entire weekend inside the Park. We saw many different animals, from small insects, reptiles of the most beautiful colors, a variety of birds and large mammals. Worth the visit!

  • Excellent for those who want to play with nature. Location in the middle of the forest with trails and waterfall. Simple infrastructure in accommodation, you need to take everything from bed linen to toilet paper. Good for groups, have some cabins with kitchen and bedrooms.

  • The area has cabins that accommodate different numbers of people (some larger and other smaller). Some cabins have kitchen, with stove, refrigerator, dishes, glasses and cutlery. Within the NATIONAL FOREST there are several trails, being the most interesting to the waterfall wedding cake and the trail of centuries-old Pines. Worth knowing also the Grove of chestnut trees.
