  • First, it is necessary prior scheduling (2 weeks in advance, more or less), please call (11) 2997-5000 (I spoke with Leticia, super nice and helpful). The day marked, be on time! The hike is relatively easy, but recall that after the descent, will have to go up (for those who like hiking, trekking or does has a regular fitness good have no problem ... the rhythm of walking is quiet). Bring lunch and water (there's no place to buy). Smoking is not permitted in the PARK, if you can't take 5 hours without smoking, don't waste your time, look for another activity. The monitors are great and know very well the Park and its history. But the monuments need restoration, you can meet and get at all but is visible the need for care. Contrary to what I thought, the monuments are not at the time of the Empire, 1922-32 to mark historic (no longer exist), but still worth a lot. On the way up, we had the happiness of the change of time, which caused a fog (not rare) and completely changed the landscape.

  • Very tasty tour of the serra do mar, the view of the falls kills, a vision of the town of Morley and historic lost

  • Very nice ride, but it requires a bit of physical conditioning. I did this tour through a tour operator, but can also be visiting through scheduling by phone directly with the Park. There are two options, one you're going to the Ranch of adulthood and back to the park entrance, or the longer than I did, you descend to Cubatão, which takes around 4 hours, for a total of 9 km of descent. Despite being descent requires some physical effort and attention, because in certain areas the curves are well marked, if not slow, it runs the risk of falling. The ideal is to go days with Sun, the day I went was cold and rained the day before, there were many fallen leaves on the ground, which was an obstacle to more, some people slipped up, and had many clouds which prevented us from having a vision of the baixada santista. But it's worth it, you exercise, breathe fresh air, enjoy nature, and learn a little more of our history!
