Cidade da Criança, Sao Bernardo Do Campo

"City of Children" is an amusement park that has been an institution with local families for decades. New rides are added to the mix every few years, but you will still see the old stalemates from days gone past. Instead of clearing the wooded area to build the original park, the owners of Cidade da Criança opted for leaving the trees, this creates welcome shade during the warmest hours of the afternoon.

Either buy a ticket for the full park or enter for free and pay per ride. The second option is an affordable choice for curious solo travelers or families with small children who may not be able to participate in all the attractions. • I took my daughter to play, is very worthwhile, she really liked it and didn't stop a minute. Is it worth buying a ticket that gives you access to all the toys. Recommend

  • I visited as a child, in the 80, was something very different from the amusement parks of the era. Today is simply an amusement park where the attractions that make the difference are in a bad state of conservation, as per example the submarine, which is payable separately, the water is very dirty, the animals that adorn the pool are covered in mud. Needs urgent maintenance.

  • Created in 1968, initially as scenic city of Redemption, of the defunct Tv Excelsior and retired in 2010, the city of children, the country's first theme park, is located behind the historic Flag also Vera Cruz in São Bernardo do Campo. With highlights for the Sub (for those who do not suffer from claustrophobia), Elevator Kaboom and 4 d cinema, the Park also features the traditional cable car ride, Viking ship, bumper cars, Ferris wheel, crazy cup, among others. Has the city on TV, with explanatory pieces, costumes and equipment of early brazilian TV. Were also recorded at the site, parts of the novels Carousel, Chiquititas and Saving Patrol, both of the SBT. Although the entry be free, ticket prices or the Passport is a little "salty", but still worth a visit.

  • Save your money and take your children somewhere else. You've been warned! Unhelpful staff. Aging, boring and seemingly unsafe rides (just my opinion based on the noises they made). Disgusting bathrooms... At a park for children? Unforgivable. The entire complex is in a fairly shabby state. Even the ticketing process and lines for rides are disorganized and chaotic. Several rides not functioning and our four year old was either too big or too little for several rides. These rules seemed to be enforced arbitrarily. Ridiculous. I don't think I've ever given a 1 star review before but this one it's well desererved. What a joke. What a rip off. São Paulo is really in trouble if this is a 4 star attraction in the eyes of other Google reviewers.

Where to stay in Sao Bernardo Do Campo

The busy streets of Sao Bernardo Do Compo city play host to countless hotels and guesthouses, with amenities and prices to suit all tastes and wallets. Conversely, accommodation in the Riacho Grande region is non-existent. While this is a boost for the environmental prospects of the area, those hoping for respite from Sao Paulo’s urban buzz are limited to day trips. If you’re planning a longer stay in the city, you may find a vacation rental to be both more comfortable and economical.
