Embare Beach, Santos

(4.1/5 based on 130+ reviews on the web)
Nearly as wide as a football field is long, Embare Beach gives you plenty of space to lay your towel and stretch out on the sand. This is the beach of the upscale Santos neighborhood of Embaré, and though the water clarity can vary, cycling and walking paths give you land-based options for leisure. A wide green park with a large fountain and playgrounds creates a buffer between the beach and the avenue running along the coast. If you need a break from the sunrays, you'll find plenty of shade beneath the park's numerous trees. Kiosks sell food and drinks, so you can stay satiated and refreshed without wandering far from your towel in the sand. • Busy beach but of family atmosphere, situated between channels 4 and 5. Has excellent infrastructure of services, both on the Boardwalk and sand, with pastel stands and beats that are traditional and of fixed points in the sand, which gives more confidence to customers. The highlights are to the tents of clubs and associations that are continually armed in the summer season and offer food and drinks, besides messas in the sand in the shade. As tourist spot, this is the edge that is the famous and beautiful Basilica of Santo Antônio do Embaré, which gives its name to the neighborhood.
