Is a very interesting Museum as it tells the story of surfing and how it developed in saints and how the local surfers have become legends.

In Brazilian surfing Museum, we found some very interesting photos and planchas, but I think I need things. It's a bit empty.

A museum that shows the history of the surf in Brazil. Very well decorated and located in an excellent place.

Small museum that offers a glimpse of Brazilian history based in home furniture and other things used in a daily basis on Brazilian homes. There is a nice restaurant inside, requires reservation. There is a free admittance but limit in number of people allowed simultaneously. Depending on exhibition, this can be reached just after lunch. Parking on local, very expensive.

Great museum. There's always something special going on. The garden is truly a great green spot in the heart of Faria Lima.

Good place to take the family on the weekends if you happen to be in Sao Paulo

One room was open. Whit some plates and pictures. Google says it it modern art.. No, it's a construction site whit plates on the wall. Waste of money

Where to start, firstly this is not the museum of modern art, this is the museum of Brazilian houses. Secondly, despite the museum being under refurbishment, the reception decided it was justified to charge the full entry price for 1 mediocre room of artifacts. Thirdly, full entry price was also charged, despite the restaurant and surrounding gardens being reserved for a private function. I would not advise visiting this museum for at least the next 2 months until refurbishments are completed, even when the museum is completed, unless you are fluent in Portuguese, it is not worth your time as you will not find any translations for the contents of the museum.

Where to stay in Santos

Look to the west of Avenida Dr. Washington Luiz for the greatest choice in accommodations, with the main cluster of popular places located here. Choose from chain hotels both simple and luxurious, as well as characterful, family-run pousadas tucked away on residential and commercial side streets. Move farther from the coast to find backpacker-friendly hostels and apartment rentals, ideal for those wishing to keep costs down or stay for longer periods of time.
