  • The Cathedral you find today was erected in the same place in 1706 the first building built. There was a second small building in the 19 century and, finally, in 1929 the current. The facade of the Church in sandy clay stone is unique, there are many arches and sculptures, these honor the patron saints of the seven People of the missions. The Cathedral is very similar to what would be the Cathedral of St. Michael the Archangel in São Miguel das missions during the Missionary period. One of the strengths is the archaeological site on the outskirts of the Cathedral and in his own building, where you can observe not only traces of the former mission, as well as the techniques of construction of churches that have succeeded one another. Nearby, there is an interesting gift shop items, but prices are not the most pleasant, but the diversity of products offered. Certainly, the beautiful architecture will yield beautiful pictures. In the same square, to the left of the Cathedral, there is a historical museum that must be visited.

  • The Cathedral of Santo Ângelo is the simulacrum, but allows the visitor to have the dimension of what was, in fact, the monumentality of what are today the ruins of São Miguel. The visit is worth it. But when you look at the performance of square with the Church, cause weirdness, precisely because there are elements built in disharmony with the story, as the concrete walkway, surrounded of children's leisure area, among other details.

  • The Angelopolitana Cathedral still is the strong point of the city. Inspired by the Ruins of St. Michael the Archangel is worth the visit. Very pretty much external as internally.
