  • Belmonte is today, for its Colonial Baroque architecture, with traces of Gotipo, neo classic, and mixed traits. -063 Are squares that go back the history of the cocoa colonels ´ in auta by 18th and 19th secilos, A to visit on a small scale (small groups)-the city has a very particular cuisine, but to satisfy large groups. Boats, boats rides (family), and its beaches are turbid due to rivers that drain into the sea. (very deep the beaches)

  • Located on the route of the discovery, Belmonte marks the time of the cocoa trade. Has several old warehouses, numerous buildings of the colonial period and is the place where the Jequitinhonha River flows into the sea. It is a quiet town, with some interesting quirks. Worth knowing.
