Shopping da Bahia, Salvador
(3.6/5 based on 340+ reviews on the web)
Currently the second largest shopping center in the region, Shopping da Bahia is easily accessible by a walkway connecting it to the city's bus station. Once the site of the largest movie theater complex in all of Latin America, the mall helped put Salvador on the national calendar by hosting the Iguatemi Fashion Week. Shop over 500 of the world's best (and most expensive) department stores, stop by the food court for a snack, catch a movie, or browse the newest selection of beach reads at the well-stocked bookstore. Tickets for the Salvador Carnival can also be purchased here. Put Shopping da Bahia into our Salvador trip itinerary builder to see other points of interest to visit during your vacation in Salvador.

  • One of the oldest and largest of Salvador, have everything you have in other large malls in terms of entertainment, shopping and services. The highest quality is the location, it is close to the bus station of the city and for this same reason raises what me away from this place, the hellish traffic of the area and the crowd of folks attending. If noise bothers you, and many people look for other shopping centers in the city as Savior, and parallel Bar.

  • Is one of the most sought after places to spend the holidays and weekends. Gets busy on these dates, but has good location (in the heart of the city) and several large stores. Not to be missed.

  • Já foi melhor
  • The only problem are the people that go to this mall, usually uneducated
  • The old name is Iguatemi Shopping, but the most visitors are lower economic people, then the name has changed to Shopping da Bahia.
  • Good overall. Lots of expensive stores
  • Espaçoso
