Shopping da Bahia, Salvador

(3.6/5 based on 360+ reviews on the web)
Currently the second largest shopping center in the region, Shopping da Bahia is easily accessible by a walkway connecting it to the city's bus station. Once the site of the largest movie theater complex in all of Latin America, the mall helped put Salvador on the national calendar by hosting the Iguatemi Fashion Week. Shop over 500 of the world's best (and most expensive) department stores, stop by the food court for a snack, catch a movie, or browse the newest selection of beach reads at the well-stocked bookstore. Tickets for the Salvador Carnival can also be purchased here. Put Shopping da Bahia into our Salvador trip itinerary builder to see other points of interest to visit during your vacation in Salvador.

  • Former Shopping Iguatemi. I'm living outside of Salvador for two years but every time I come I make a visit. Has a good food court, the film also goes well on days when the Mall is not too full. Has many shops and is the busiest in the city. Access during the week is a little tricky if you go by car, but at night and on the weekends it gets easier. Parking costs 6 for 4 hours and real what you pay more.

  • The Mall of Bahia mixes the history and architecture of Salvador, being the best place to shop.

  • Já foi melhor
  • The only problem are the people that go to this mall, usually uneducated
  • The old name is Iguatemi Shopping, but the most visitors are lower economic people, then the name has changed to Shopping da Bahia.
  • Good overall. Lots of expensive stores
  • Espaçoso
