  • The Museum is interesting and worth visiting, but lacks investment for that reform happens.

  • I think it's down, but learned new things about the city. Deserve a good retirement to receive students and tourists

  • Very sad to see a heritage like this museum totally in abandonment. All right It is a museum and of course there are "old" things or better say "old". But the degradation promoted by abandonment is unjustifiable. A steam locomotive entirely destroyed by Rust... A "solar cooker" as well as an unrecognizable solar clock. A FAB "hunt" going the same way... A milling and "flour crusher" that, like the other pieces depicting the beginning of the national economy in its earliest times completely destroyed, abandoned, unrecognizable. It's too revolting. An immense area delivered to the neglect and abandonment that since the entrance, under the same conditions, more looks like an abandoned terrain, notwithstanding there are people inside working. Who knows in this next government with an "astronaut" minister, scholar and interested something can change in this sad, nefarious setting that this museum finds. The national history of the Quinta da Boa Vista in Rio de Janeiro "burned down" and preferred to become ashes in the face of the inability and total absence of culture of the 16 years of ignorant rulers and ministers who today flee from processes. Enough. The revolt is trying to make me conclude this text.

  • Place totally delivered to neglect and abandonment demonstrating that culture and history meant nothing to the (DES) Government of these that have been perpetuated over the last years in the country to the example of the incendium that occurred in the National Historical Museum in Rio de Janeiro and the Totally destroyed it. In this of Salvador, since the entrance that most resembles an abandoned terrain there are pieces in a state of decomposition as a locomotive entirely corroded by Rust... A solar clock in the same state of decomposition... An unrecognizable solar cooker... An aircraft of the FAB (jet fighter) that tries to resist bravely beyond countless other pieces carved in wood that reflect the golden era of the processing of cassava from the beginning of the colonization of this country. That the new Minister of Science and Technology, an astronaut, brilliant scholar and devoted, can do something.

  • A pleasant surprise to know this place. But the condition also negatively surprised. I hope that maintenance measures are taken quickly.
