  • Both forts were reformed and transformed into cultural and tourist attractions. Still not disclosed, are interactive museums and guided tours, very interesting. The Are Diogo houses works by Carybé, bringing together paintings, photos, illustrations, and the story told in various forms of art. Important to devote a lot of time to enjoy all the material.

  • Located in the neighborhood of the bar, just inches away from the best beach in the world, Porto da Barra, this Fort opens onto the beautiful Baia de todos os Santos. Visit in the afternoon where you can enjoy the beautiful works of Carr. Usually Wednesday admission is free. The sunset of the Fort is AMAZING

  • The Fort São Diogo overlooks the Porto da Barra and the Baía de Todos os Santos. Are three terraces accessible by flights of stairs, with beautiful landscaping and breathtaking sunset. Admission is free and the staff are attentive. From the 11 hours there is an interactive exhibition of the works of Carybé with cost of $10.00, free on Wednesdays. The same ticket allows visits to the photo exhibition of Pierre Vergé at Fort Santa Maria, next. Has small shop that sells souvenirs of the two artists. We like a lot. In the last hour (18 to 19 hours) are projected images of the works and the pictures on the external walls of the forts. Very pretty! On Tuesdays there's no projection and the exhibits don't open.
