  • Or would it be filthy and beautiful? I've been faced with such filth, never seen it in my life, nor after New Year's Eve. Glass bottles, plastic print, pet, lollipop stick, bottle cap... The sand is colored from so much junk. I saw a gentleman go into the water of shirt, shorts and cap, killed up to the lid of a can of Nescau, thought the world would have salvation, but he took the lid and threw it to the side, after that, I made a point of getting into the water and collecting this garbage , I mean the lid, of course. Too sad, the beach is beautiful, strong waves, brave sea with a lot of current (at least it was so today), but very, very rubbish, and rare dumpbins.

  • Itapuã Beach and simply wonderful, clear waters, clean, with a sunset of God, the place I stood in front of the Hotel Mar Brasil did not have beach service as tents and sun guards.

  • I made a point of knowing why the beach is famous, but did not like, dirty water, many stones, strange environment, found dangerous.

  • The beach of Itapuã inspired even in the music, famous composition of Vinícius de Moraes and Dorival Caymmi "one afternoon in Itapuã". This beach has rock formations, when the low tide become natural pools, great for bathing, the sands are clean and white, also practises windsurfing.   You can also enjoy a delicious acarajé, made by Salvador's most famous Bahia "Cira and Deja". There are many beach tents offering the best of snacks and Bahian cuisine.  Itapuã in Tupi that say "snoring stone". In past times there was a rock that made the noise of snoring with the flowing tide. Today this rock broke, not making this noise anymore. On this beach there is the lighthouse of Itapuã and the statue of the mermaid of Itapuã.

  • A disgrace. Dirty, stinks of urine and feces. Uneducated people, some disgraced music playing. It's the map of hell. Besides, the water sucks.
