  • Beach famous for music by Toquinho and Vinicius for this an obligatory stop for tourists. The edge is being reformed. If you want to catch a beach avoid the urban part because in this area she gets very full and consequently the beach is not so clean.

  • Famous for music by Vinicius and Caetano, this beach is considered to be the Caribbean. True that the part next to the Mall and Church don't have nice beaches Itapuã for bath, but if you're going to the region of K Street, then you will have a wonderful bathroom, with options for sport. On weekends it gets crowded and sometimes the sand full of garbage, that even a shame, people leave garbage. Attention because the ida for K Street, being made on the beach is quiet, but if you're the sidewalk just be careful because you can this with little movement of people. These streets have many gated communities and so can be deserted. If you are getting to know the city and wants this wonderful sea bath, ask Taxi or Uber dropped on K Street. On site there is a few tents for food and drink, but it has. If you have child take a snack.

  • The reality is not the same as the poetry, but it's still a song to laziness and relaxation ... worth!

  • Always wonderful. During the week the tranquillity reigns. Weekends quiet just because the visitation is intense due to the tranquility of the beach, with some natural pools for swimmers and sunbathers.

  • The beach itself is very nice because it is extensive and you can walk. There is a tourist area with the cleanest sea and others close to the lighthouse where it seems to be more people of the place. The sea and the landscape are there more dirty. Reasonable prices. I went on weekday and although there were many people we were not crowded or uncomfortable.

  • The best of the various beaches in Salvador I've seen. A large, available even during high tide, with natural pools during low tide. Sure, with many beach bars. Free sitting, drinking guidelines (Beach food a bit expensive, but you can easily go out to eat). In front of the village then with all services. Easily accessible by public transport. Less rainy and windy most of other areas of Salvador. For all, including families with young children.
