Good beach for the practice of sports in order to have a wide strip of sand. In infrastructure construction. During the week it's a quiet place to attend. On weekends ... hmmm tingling!

You can't make a simple walk on this beach without being interrupted by sellers or owners of tables and chairs is horrible you going for a walk in the water they are keen to go to you to fill the patience and only stop when just their space is no more the next tent. The sea of this beach is angry and can appear small living waters said it was because the July period. Going to the end of the beach waters are calmer but have to be careful because you have a little more desert that they said can occur. Even you going the sidewalk tents staff go after you. Unfortunately I didn't have a moment of peace and quiet on this beach. Too bad ... at least earned some good pictures.

For me one of the best beaches of Salvador. She is flat, has no stones, has tables and chairs placed along the beach so that tourists can enjoy them with more peace of mind.

Where to stay in Salvador

The majority of accommodations in Salvador fall into three distinct groupings. If you want to be close to the best historical attractions, stay in or near the old town of Pelourinho, a few minutes from the city's west-facing coastline. This also puts you in the heart of Salvador's tourist-driven nightlife. Your second option is to stay at the southwestern tip of the city, in the neighborhood of Barram, where you'll have instant access to one of Salvador's favorite beaches. Finally, look a bit farther afield to Rio Vermelho, a quieter beachside neighborhood facing south.
