  • I was hopeful to get her this time, but still closed for renovations. Is on a side of the Largo Terreiro de Jesus, next to the churches of São Pedro dos Clérigos and the San Francisco Convent and the Cathedral Basilica. Unfortunately, the visit had to be postponed again.

  • It is located in the Praça XV de Novembro, in Largo do Terreiro de Jesus, and had its construction begun in 1731. Its facade is in the Rococo style and its interior has talha, who replaced the original neoclassical Baroque carved. The Church was reformed from 1873 to 1888 and has valuable artistic Bahian artists collection and rosewood furniture. Currently, she is suffering a complete restoration and is closed to visitation.
