  • Be sure to visit the Museum, a good collection of the history of Brazil and Bahia. Not to be missed and is worth every penny!!!

  • Appealing old lighthouse and interesting maritime museum. No café although there was a sign pointing to it. Also no wifi. Excellent views all round but the long climb to the top is rewarded by long distance view obscured by netting. The museum has some good model ships and a lovely collection of ships in bottles.
  • $R15 entry fee per person so it's not expensive. Lighthouse is really cool and the view is probably the best you can get in the area. Cool historical museum as well. Closed completely at 18:00, but the Lighthouse is closed around 17:30.
  • O Farol da Barra ou Farol de Santo Antonio tem 22 metros de altura e encontra-se no interior do Forte de Santo Antonio da Barra. A Torre atual foi inaugurada em Dezembro de 1839.
  • The magical sunset in many poses
  • Lindo pôr do sol.
