  • Shows the history of navigation and has a significant acquis with ancient navigation items (anchors, lamps, old lighthouses) very interesting! But what really impresses is the view from the top, Baia de todos os Santos.

  • Great time in Salvador. A little of the history of Brazil in a very beautiful place and meaning. Clean and safe. Has a nice gift shop at the entrance to souvenirs. If you are with children, be careful on the terrace.

  • is it at the farol da barra. Some account of the history of discovery and how people got there. It's beautiful.

  • Appealing old lighthouse and interesting maritime museum. No café although there was a sign pointing to it. Also no wifi. Excellent views all round but the long climb to the top is rewarded by long distance view obscured by netting. The museum has some good model ships and a lovely collection of ships in bottles.
  • $R15 entry fee per person so it's not expensive. Lighthouse is really cool and the view is probably the best you can get in the area. Cool historical museum as well. Closed completely at 18:00, but the Lighthouse is closed around 17:30.
  • It is ok. Not really special. But it is nice if you like.
  • cute little exhibition for a fair price and a nice view from the top
  • A really beautiful historical monument
