  • We were at the museum after a first unsuccessful attempt a few days ago, when we found a warning at the gate saying that the opening for visitation would be delayed. Today, despite the goodwill and courtesy of all the staff, we had to insist on the closed bars, discovering not only that it was open but also possessed ample parking. As we enter we are delighted, with the spectacular view of the Bay of All Saints and the lower city, with the magnificent architecture of the convent and with the rich collection, well preserved, clearly exposed, didactic and bilingual. The Visitation book we were given to sign marked the presence of 15 (fifteen) people. And it doesn't open on weekends... Extraordinary heritage, almost confidential!

  • Beautiful architecture of this convent built in the years 1600, super privileged location overlooking the Bay of All Saints. The museum's collection is also great. You can go by car and stop at the museum parking which is free. The entry costs $10.

  • Although live since I was born in Salvador, didn't know the Museum of sacred art. It's a beautiful place, with views of Baía de Todos os Santos and with a beautiful collection exposed on the site which was once a convent. Went on a Tuesday, the day that the visitation is free. But even in those days the charging of a fee is something cheap and that pays off. I don't remember the value now. Recommend going by taxi or by car, since the site has a large free parking! You don't have to park on the street, which is a safety factor. I recommend that you bring a bottle of water, if you feel thirsty, there is no where to buy water during visiting hours.
