  • The Museu Eugênio Teixeira Leal/Memorial Economic Bank offers visitors the changes that occurred on the coins (including trading currencies before the existence of the current currency) and ballots, both in Brazil as in other parts of the world. There you can see what was used as money in many countries-as for example; gold dust, stones that refer to the local culture, etc.-There is also a replica of the printing press that was used in the manufacture of money in Brazil. The visit was performed only on the floor, because I was told that during the weekend the top floor is not open to visitation. The tour was guided by two students, one of museology and another of pedagogy. In the list of entrance to the Museum are exposed some books, were also questioned whether the sale, I was told that Yes, even introduced me a about the city of Straws (the book cost 25 dollars, would buy, however it has not been possible, because there was no change and not passed card), the other books were compilation of lectures that have already occurred in the Museum. The Open House is free. Nominate the visit because it is a learning environment.
