Where to stay in Salvador

The majority of accommodations in Salvador fall into three distinct groupings. If you want to be close to the best historical attractions, stay in or near the old town of Pelourinho, a few minutes from the city's west-facing coastline. This also puts you in the heart of Salvador's tourist-driven nightlife. Your second option is to stay at the southwestern tip of the city, in the neighborhood of Barram, where you'll have instant access to one of Salvador's favorite beaches. Finally, look a bit farther afield to Rio Vermelho, a quieter beachside neighborhood facing south.

  • Very nice, and be sure to know the point of visual control of the Baia de Todos os Santos. from the front there in the splash the Farol da Barra, on the right side the Itaparica Island and left the coast of Salvador, Lacerda Elevator, to identify difficulties due to distance. Worth it Yes!
