  • Henriette Catharino believed that the woman should do more than just get married and created the Institute that provided courses in arts, music and label among others. The visit to the Museum is guided and provides accessibility. The garden shows the period furniture, personal effects and costume and textile museum with pieces from renowned designers such as Yves Saint Laurent, Chanel ... Until today works as a women's meetings of the Archdiocese, the bottom has a collection of handmade works.

  • Collection of furniture and clothing. Old building, where in the past worked school, the second floor housed classrooms on the third floor of the bedroom of the girls who came to study, beautiful architecture. The collection of clothing of the era is not large but it has important parts used in historical times. The collection of furniture is complete with beautiful pieces. The chapel which is on the second floor where the Normalistas prayed is very beautiful. The visitor is guided, which gives it a special charm, enriched with historical quotes.

  • Place with rich historical collection and preserved. I went because I work with fashion and wanted to visit the Museum of costume and textiles, one of the first of the kind in Brazil. I made a trip back in time during the visitation, which only costs 5.00 and R$ is guided-the intern who accompanied us, inclusive, was excellent-I heard accurately contextualize all objects of the Museum. I don't understand why the Museum be so poorly publicized! It was definitely a memorable experience for me. Recommend!
