  • The crystal clear waters of the island of Friars delights ... I went on tour, I was staying on the beach of the beach and visited Paramana Viração and Guardalupe tip ... Excellent ride.

  • upon arriving on the island. There's nothing more. It's pretty, but the quiosquer like Osmar are weak and absurdly expensive. they really exploit tourists.

  • Lush landscapes! Well-preserved nature and excellent infrastructure for tourists and residents. Main points of interest with good access and signage. After retirement, the Church of our Lady of Guadalupe is bright and well preserved. Calm beaches, abundant in marine life and clean water for the most part. Accessible by Salvador, leaving the Mercado Modelo, has the largest river path. Or by mother of God, which has the smallest River path with Paramana landing. Get to know the island and residents is a rewarding experience. The Pousada Janaina, on the tip of our Lady, is a great option for lodging and meals. It is also possible to negotiate with any owner of boat tours around the island.

  • I was staying at the home of friends in Paranama, unfortunately have a bad structure starting with basic sanitation. The port is clearly in need of a makeover. In the days when I was, I made a trip to Loreto, which is a very beautiful place, the track is in great condition

  • The Ilha dos Frades is one of the most beautiful islands of the Bay of all saints, if you like the beach, crystal clear water, and little movement, you should visit is the beach. Don't expect to find crafts or great restaurants, the island does not offer much more than stalls on the beach. Money exchanged.

  • Beautiful place. Perfect for a speedboat or schooner. The beaches can get very crowded in a few days.

Where to stay in Salvador

The majority of accommodations in Salvador fall into three distinct groupings. If you want to be close to the best historical attractions, stay in or near the old town of Pelourinho, a few minutes from the city's west-facing coastline. This also puts you in the heart of Salvador's tourist-driven nightlife. Your second option is to stay at the southwestern tip of the city, in the neighborhood of Barram, where you'll have instant access to one of Salvador's favorite beaches. Finally, look a bit farther afield to Rio Vermelho, a quieter beachside neighborhood facing south.
