  • Salvador Zoo is near the Governor's residence. It's a well wooded, with some copies of old fruit trees, reminding a farm. Is in forest recovery. Has an interactive Aviary at the beginning of the Park idea similar to Gramado-RS Zoo. Has several examples of primates. Taking the cage of mycoses found the cages of small primates and in need of reform. There are a variety of other animals such as birds, reptiles, big cats and animals not Brazilians as zebra, hippo and Dromedary. I missed the explanatory boards, animal habitat, about conditions, food and etc. There are explanatory boards, but these are insufficient. Witnessed by some 15 minutes the population transitioned call a giant copy of seal, sea lion, weasel and other things. There was a caution to keep shadowed places of note in the cage. The Museum was closed, but the window is no way to observe several skeletons of animals. The entry is fraqueada and it runs from Tuesday to Sunday.

  • Is a nice Zoo, but you're missing some good examples that are missing. It is true that ideally there is no Zoo, but since it has, that is well structured. A valid measure to allow that is the collection of tickets at extortionate prices, keeping any day of the week for free to ensure the right to totally lacking. Another urgent demand is suppressing the criminal action of keepers that constrain the families on arrival. The itinerant support is somewhat precarious, but certainly any more structured diner couldn't stay with the public who usually visit. That is, suffer for not being located in a rich town and well administered, but still worth a visit for anyone who likes animals. Contact area with some birds and part of the cages replaced with glass.
