  • Ideal place to walk, run, date and walk with family and friends, and be enchanted by its natural beauty, and, if you want, still counts the protection of the Orixás, which float on the tranquil waters of the dike of Tororó. The kids love it. And you still have an excellent restaurant.

  • The dike of Tororó or as is also known Lake of the Orixás, is located next to the stadium of Fonte Nova and constitutes a dam built in the 17th century in a natural valley, which initially had the function of protection of the city against invasions , but from the 19th century, the dike began to be grounded for the expansion of the city which considerably reduced its size. Nowadays it has become a tourist point and a popular sports and leisure complex, its surroundings, has a lot of afforestation, amphitheater, community centers, pedal boats, lanes, bike lanes, restaurants and draws attention still by the beautiful sculptures that They represent the Orixás, Iansã, Nanã, Ogum, Hope, Xangô, Iemanjá, Oxum and Oxossi. The sprinkles with the Orixás, in addition to the decorative effect, have the purpose of oxygenating the water

  • The place is more than beautiful, it's wonderful. It has quick access to various points of the city, green, stools to sit and green area that can be used for picnic hi sit to read. However, it is good to avoid regions isolated by the high rate of robberies in the region. The night is illuminated, but by the trees, some of the lighting is indicated to take even more care. The water is unsuitable for bathing, even with the treatment that has been done. And often accidents happen, people end up falling or swimming at the scene and can't get back to shore. The dike is deep. It has attractions such as pedal boat and can fish on site.

  • It's a beautiful place, with options and food nearby. Good for walking, sports practice and walking but it does not answer well in the matter of transport because few lines pass through there. Best to go to Lapa station. At night it seems a little dangerous, because there is no policing and the area is deserted, and there are several exits/entrance alledes to the old mill of Brotas.
