  • Jorge ..., Zélia. There is no Bahia without Jorge and without orishas. Go to Rio Vermelho is revisit characters, is having lunch with George and receive the affection of Zelia. Visit your kitchen filled with affection and pride. And contribute to keeping the good of human beings really good. Alive in all richness and simplicity, all together and mixed. A pleasure. If you go to Bahia, go. No need to thank me.

  • The Museum is already very good. However, I thought it was totally worth it to wait for the tour. In it you learn even more from the universe of Jorge Amado and Zelia Gawain, beyond noticing details that hardly would call caution, in a single visit. Take some time to the gardens of the House, and watch the Tortoise Elvis, because she passes suddenly in front of hungry, wanting to take over the ride. The visit was totally worth it, and is a tour that I recommend for those who like me, are fans of the brazilian literature and Jorge Amado, in particular.

  • The residential area where is located the Museum delivers the Marvel hidden within those walls. The real casa de Jorge Amado was reinvented in small details to allow travel in the history of the author (and Brazil's!). The whole House has a strong influence of African culture and each new room is a treat and the IJsselmeer of culture and discovery. Excellent!
