  • Worth a visit in any case. Admission is free and in the House there are some sculptures, masks and ritual vessels from Benin. On the first floor, there was an exhibition of sculptures, a Brazilian artist.

  • The site has very interesting objects, is very well taken care of, and the professionals who work there are extremely friendly. We needed help at the scene, and they were very accommodating, even having nothing to do with their work. I can not thank the help and concern we had with us.

  • This is a museum located at the Largo do Pelourinho, opened in 1988 with the purpose of rescuing our African descent. He has an important artistic and cultural Afro-Brazilian collection, composed of religious pieces in wood and African ceramics, among dozens of other items. The Museum also houses temporary exhibitions and various art workshops. He was entirely renovated by the city of Salvador and reopened in December 2014. Next to it are the House of Jorge Amado, the Church of Nossa Senhora do Rosário dos Pretos and several ancient and historic mansions. The entire site is very famous and is always packed with domestic and foreign tourists. Largo do Pelourinho is indispensible in Salvador.
