  • The Afro-Brazilian Museum in Salvador keeps a cognitive information about African influence in the past Brazil. The Museum consists of three museums: medical, archaeology and Ethnology. This museum is considered one of the most interesting museums dedicated to the unique culture of El Salvador, which combines European and African features. In the Museum you can see how the religious items and other things of the Afro-Brazilian origin. The fun-wooden panels gods orixas candomble religious objects and type of Voodoo, magical ceremony that I was at a local White House. The Museum was opened in 1982 in the old school thanks to the initiative of local authorities. The main purpose of the Museum is the study, protection and dissemination of information relating to Afro-Brazilians. Recommend going with a guide.

  • It is imperative for anyone who sets out to meet Salvador, make a visit to the Museum afro, Salvador is a city with African descent and here you can learn about the works and the orishas. Is the building of the first Faculty of Medicine of Brazil, and will at the Museum of Ethnology as well.
