  • Beautiful and tiny Theater in downtown Sabará is so tiny and simple that you run the risk of passing right through it if you're not aware of. After walking through her small door inside the theater will surprise you. Worth visiting!

  • It is a beautiful colonial building (like most of the city), Who comes to town can only come by. Came to receive the views of the Portuguese Emperor Dom Pedro I and Pedro II. It's a trip back in time.

  • Watching a play in this theater and was blown away with architecture. Have the poroes where the slaves were, drawn to the noble is very beautiful.

  • Casa da Ópera – Teatro Municipal (Rua Dom Pedro II) É o segundo teatro mais antigo do Brasil, em funcionamento. Tem em suas linhas arquitetônicas a influência dos teatros ingleses do reinado de Elizabeth I, por isso é conhecido também como Teatro Elizabetano. O primeiro prédio foi construído antes de 1771 e funcionou até por volta de 1783. A segunda Casa da Ópera foi inaugurada em 02 de junho de 1819, durante as festas do nascimento da “Princesa da Beira”, Dona Maria da Glória, de Portugal. Nele, atuaram as grandes companhias artísticas da época. A Casa recebeu as visitas dos imperadores Dom Pedro I (1831) e Dom Pedro II (1881). Sua arquitetura interna tem influência italiana, com disposição dos camarotes em três galerias. Possui excelente acústica e encontra-se em plena atividade cultural.
