  • This church is very simple, but it's beautiful. Simplicity is the same that had S Francis stays in place a little more on top of the city and from there has a very nice view of the whole town of Sabará. the Church is reformed, and in your whole interior we find works of Aleijadinho and Master Ataíde. Its altar is Rico and very beautiful. Worth going there.

  • Beautiful architectural construction, one of the landmarks of the city. Located on a high point, a beautiful square. Easy access!

  • Unfortunately my visit to Sabará was on a Monday, the day a lot is closed, as this church I found closed doors, as well as others such as the gold Museum. Thus only the saw on the outside, but still thanks. Church of St. Francis in the Largo de São Francisco, in 1781, the work of Men Brown (as always well marked the Division of people by your color, at that time, so we find the Church of the white men, black men and that men Browns). It was erected to honor the patron saint of the Franciscans, our Lady Queen of the angels. At the same site, there was a wooden chapel dedicated to n. s. Queen of angels. Masonry construction occurred in the late 18TH century and early 19th century.

  • Linda Church of Sabará. Worth to visit. Too bad they don't have a well-informed person to pass along information. There is a work attributed to Cripple.

  • Church of San Francesco (Largo São Francisco) Temple of 1781 in the Dina was the San Francisco men Browns. Erected in honour the patron saint of the Franciscans, our Lady Queen of the angels, whose image is on the high altar. Before your construction existed at the site a "tosca" wooden chapel dedicated to our Lady Queen of angels, which San Francisco was devoted. Its construction, made in stone masonry, date of the end of the 19th century. 18th and early 19th. In your interior, the floor and the ceiling are lined boards, where bears a painting of our Lady of the angels and the four evangelists, as well as imaginary parts as the Lord Killed, St. Francis of Assisi, the Lady Queen of the angels, as well as Dean of Roca in the sacristy. Only in town with room-consistory, the sacristy on the back, in the chapel-mór and pulpits in arco-cruzeiro, besides the greater internal height in the ship. Operation: daily, from 9:00 to 5:00 pm. Closing for lunch from 11:00 at 1:00 pm. Visitation rate: $2.00.
