  • The Church of St. Francis of Assisi is in the historic centre of Sabará, on top of a hill. Is currently closed to visitors. People say that all the historical monuments of Sabará are in a bad state of conservation, but that much of the money destinadp the restoration goes to Ouro Preto. Unfortunately I could not enter this church who say guard images that are real relics.

There's a huge staircase that leads to the top, and live the moment imagined a great detective of the sacred mysteries. You will like it. There is a beautiful picture made by Aleijadinho.

  • Linda Church of Sabará. Worth to visit. Too bad they don't have a well-informed person to pass along information. There is a work attributed to Cripple.
