Nice place but beware of the Prefecture and info on the street. Beautiful place to be explored with restaurants, cafes etc. but is abandoned

First Street sidewalk of the RS in 1813, placed stone by stone by the slaves, we need the history of our state here. Totally worth the walk, however, for those who do not live in the city and comes to sight-seeing, there is a lack of information, as well as in the old days the site had restaurants that attract more tourists, all this would be a great addition

We went during the week, without a lot of information and it took literally mining information to find the most important points of the city. But the site worth, the pavement is original, 1831, date is preserved, no movement of cars, on descent, from the main road, access to the Church.
