  • Site that shows us a lot about navigation, since the handmade, small fishing boats, as boats for more refined ride. There's a huge boat where you can climb aboard for photos, very interesting.

  • O Museu Náutico está instalado no armazém 4 do Porto Velho, junto ao Centro Histórico. Foi inaugurado no dia 9 de abril de 2003. Destaca a Cidade do Rio Grande como uma cidade histórica e marítima, além de realçar a íntima relação do município com o mar e com o estuário da Lagoa (laguna) dos Pratos. O Museu Náutico tem por finalidade também resgatar, preservar e divulgar a cultura e o conhecimento náutico local, valorizar o trabalho humano vinculado à atividade náutica e dignificar aqueles que vivem do mar. O acervo do museu dispõe de embarcações, equipamentos de navegação, pesca e sinalização náutica, mapas e maquetes de acordo com os modernos princípios da museologia. São promotores do Museu Náutico a Fundação Universidade Federal do Rio Grande (FURG), o Comando do 5o Distrito Naval, a Superintendência do Porto do Rio Grande e a Fundação Cidade do Rio Grande.
