  • For those who want to learn about the Antarctic continent I think there should be a better place. Are several containers with explanatory material about it all: flora, fauna, tides, wind, weather, ... Not open Mondays and holidays.

  • Very interesting, gives a good idea of life and of the Comandante Ferraz Station, in Antarctica. And also the importance of the contributions to the sciences. The peculiarity of the distribution of containers is very similar to the original station. Location relatively easy, but there's no place to buy water or any other liquid there. We miss, because visits are internal and external.

  • Don't expect a vast exhibition pieces. This museum was assembled in containers and these centers are exposed several tables with a lot of written information. Part of the focus of the exhibition is the Comandante Ferraz Brazilian Antarctic base, including the project of reconstruction of the same. The most interesting part of the exhibition are two vehicles used in the station: an ATV and a motorized sled. The Museum is located in the same complex in which are the Oceanographic Museum the pier where the boat to visit the island. Admission is free.
