  • Place of easy access and parking, has fished until noon always fresh. In late afternoon, the view of the sunset is beautiful. Finally, there is a restaurant practically around the corner, in front of the dock, simple but with freshly prepared fish and not to be missed.

  • This place is worth a visit, have a beautiful view. Take a mate there and contemplate the sunset is a spectacle. The night is also nice and buzzing, especially if it's a clear night with a full moon. In the background, the Museum of the island of gunpowder illuminates and beautifies the place.

Where to stay in Rio Grande

The area around the old dock offers the greatest number and variety of accommodations in Rio Grande, with pastel-colored family-owned hotels among the most charming options. Modern stand-alone hotels become more frequent as you step away from the water and the historical dock, with prices varying between them depending on amenities and ocean views. Hostels and guesthouses provide the budget options in this popular part of town. If you're looking to keep the cost down, consider staying at one of the hotels in the largely residential area to the west.
