  • Newly exploited for tourism attraction, and known until recently by residents of the city, the coral reefs of Rio do Fogo são imperdíivel attraction for those who like to see live marine life, with tranquility and pleasure. I recommend everyone visit tremendously. Book at least 3 hours, is so good that I just want to stay there all day!

  • At low tide form pools in coral reefs shallow 0.50 m, well and with a lot of life. Anyone, even without experience, can put a diving glasses and get delighted with so many colors of fish.

  • First of all: I'm a person who doesn't know how to swim, is already warning:). Second thing: If you insist a swim in natural pools, check the table of tides before closing the trip and prefer the week where the low tide will be around noon we ride with the tourist agency in Ponta Negra for river of Fire, because I had already researched about Maracajaú and want to get away from large crowds I want shallower pools do you swim and in Maracajaú is deeper even at low tide. Rio do Fogo has the more rustic structure and it doesn't make the ride even worse, for me it was even more fun (to talk to the locals and everything else). The day was wonderful, it was noon, and the tide was low and we went by speedboat for 7 km into the sea until we get to the lighthouse. For those who know how to swim and you know explore the Brill, will be able to see more varieties of fish. It's literally a pool at sea. For those who like deeper dives, with more marine life, I would advise other locations. In my opinion, I love Rio do Fogo.
