(4.7/5 based on 1,200+ reviews on the web)
Reserva Beach offers a peaceful setting on white sand lapped by warm blue sea. This beach is popular with surfers and swimmers, but you can also enjoy a day of quiet sunbathing in this secluded spot. The area surrounding the beach is a nature reserve, where you can explore numerous hiking trails though lush vegetation. Along the way stop by a rustic food stall for a taste of authentic Brazilian cuisine, prepared from fresh fish and served hot. The area has several bicycle paths and playgrounds, making this site a favorite of families with small children. Locals recommend several trendy neighborhood restaurants known for their Rodizio-style service, where instead of a menu, an assortment of dishes is brought to the table for picking and choosing. • As the parking spaces are limited and there is no public transport to the Beach reserve is great to escape the turmoil, in addition to being great in every way. Family, surfing, etc.

  • Certainly the charm of Ipanema and Copacabana is there, but if you want to immerse yourself in the silence and see long beaches almost deserted, gone beyond Leblon and Sao Conrado and Barra beaches. Frequented by locals, weekend are almost deserted on weekdays.

  • What does the reserve beach so special? Besides the fact that she's the continuation of the Praia da Barra, she still has the advantage of having few parking spaces for cars, which makes it a beach crowded never, even in the summer and on weekends. Exactly for this, ends up being a nice, safe beach and very pretty. Worth the visit!
