Ponte Rio-Niteroi, Rio de Janeiro
(3.8/5 based on 650+ reviews on the web)
At the time of its construction, Ponte Rio-Niteroi was the second longest bridge in the world, and, although it has since slipped down in the rankings, it is no less impressive a structure today. 13.29 km (8.25 mi) long and reaching a height of 72 m (236 ft), the bridge offers an expansive cityscape of Rio de Janeiro, including the downtown skyline and Sugarloaf Mountain. To get a sense of the scale of the bridge, take the ferry and view it from the water. • A beautiful, water everywhere, the cities communicating. One of the most beautiful works of the brazilian engineering. And as East Grinstead is more than a view to Rio, worth the trip.

  • Had already passed before, but it was so long ago that even reminded me of the law as the bridge is beautiful, wonderful. gives pride to know that were Brazilian, heads the main responsible for that beauty. Nice to see from a distance, beautiful to see up close. great place to see Rio de Janeiro, to see the sea, to see the nature and to admire the human intelligence. I loved.
