  • Dangerous is one of the most beautiful beaches of Rio. To get there you need to go through a trail with a little more than 1 hour, which despite being a bit tiring is a great trail to enjoy nature! The arrival on the beach is the reward. Hint, take plenty of water, because there is no more and the salt water walking the sweat of a hot day combined with a nice walk make you feel very thirsty. Note: one thing that I found bad on both the path to the beach, when on the beach. Garbage, not all take the trash they produce. I also esbarei with garbage along the way what Hey could I grabbed.

  • The beach is really beautiful, but don't go in the Carnival or extended weekends. Many people camp on site and make a real mess. A lot of rubbish spread, hanging clothes and campfires. Had a huge area burned, certainly result in some camp fire. The trail that takes you there is very quiet, there's not much difficulty. I saw several people with children. The point that separates the trail to the praia do meio and praia do dangerous was not signaled, is a fork, take down the right. The sea was very choppy and as is common in the River, the ice cold water. At the beginning of the trail has some people selling water and cookies, but I recommend taking that will consume and of course do not leave your trash on the beach. The region is already quite affected by people who drop your trash anywhere.

Where to stay in Rio de Janeiro

Accommodations in Rio de Janeiro cover as diverse a spectrum as the city itself. At the top end, you can find plenty of luxury hotels along the beaches of Zona Sul, the city's southern zone, which includes the renowned Copacabana and Ipanema beaches. For something to suit a budget, but with good beach access, look around the less crowded neighborhoods of Catele and Flamengo. If you want to stay as centrally as possible, without feeling like you're in a business district, look for lodgings in the colorful, bohemian neighborhood of Santa Teresa.
