  • We went to the Copacabana, and accidentally went to the Park. Small, well-kept Park, at least when we have gone, part of the Park was fenced with tape and working hard, planted palms, cozy Place.

  • This Park connects the beaches of Copacabana and Ipanema, is quite large and with lots of green. Unfortunately, it is badly lit and quite careless. Really a shame because it is inhabited by many people.

  • The girl from Ipanema Park was like abandoned and currently undergoes a process of revitalization. Today I saw newly planted Palm trees. This Park is between the two most famous beaches of Rio (Copacabana and Ipanema).

  • I don`t think this park connects to Copacabana if you head east, we tried meandering through just before sunset and it got a bit sketchy, there were hardly any people once you climbed up the path a bit and you started feeling less than 100% comfortable. At the bottom of the park near the gates there is an area for people to perform and much busier and that was ok but I would not really wonder around the park too far.
  • Ok space, but very sketchy at night. Lots of trash, construction debris, nonfunctional lights, stray cats, and loose dogs.
  • Cute locals park leading to Arporador, the best place to watch the sunset in Rio. It's got trees and shade for summer, and often vendors selling drinks for cheap. There's a small playground, blacktop (where street performers often meet and practice standing on stilts, etc.) and grassy area. It's fenced off but has openings for the beach access, so tends to feel a little more closed off and safe. It has the best access to Arporador, leading you straight to the rock to go see the sunset. Or, turn the corner and you'll head back to Ipanema.
  • Nice park. Pretty scary when it gets dark
  • Great view and nice place to hangout.
