  • The Parque Estadual do Grajaú is one of those unique places in Rio de Janeiro. Has an exuberant nature, picnic tables, green area to enjoy with the children. The stunning views of peak Lost which is the hallmark of Grajaú. For lovers of hiking trails worth doing it with the assistance of a guide. The view from up there is breathtaking.

  • The Park is not very well known. But there are several activities during the week that are for free. One of them is the Yoga. Place with structure for those who like to meet friends or family for a nice picnic. You can find people doing Abseiling or hiking. Within the Park, there are no waterfalls as mosta on Google. The waterfalls and lakes are in the Tijuca Park, as I was guided by the clerk of the Park.

  • This place is amazing. Quiet, beautiful, and full of peace. I love!!!! Here the children are not in the cell. I just want to play in the trees and climbing on the rocks. Too good.

  • Wonderful place, clean, well maintained and exuberant nature. The Park is ideal for family walks, picnicking, hiking, rappelling, Tai Chi, Yoga, meditation. The view is beautiful, fresh air and peace of mind. For that I want to leave town without having to get out of it. Worth the visit.

  • It is a small park, with a beautiful view, an ideal space to have a party outdoors, a pleasant environment that in your outside space might not too great for parking, a tour that is worth knowing.

  • Forest overlooking the town and site for mountaineering. With restrooms and drinking fountain. Quiet and clean. With tables and cement picnic accents and wooden benches scattered around. With administration and security at the entrance. Forbidden to make fire, and religious events. A small local theater. It has a gym Pokemon.

  • The reserve is one of the most pleasant places of the River, an amazing place, a few minutes from the Centre, allows the visitor forget that lives in the big city, immersed in a lush vegetation of the Atlantic forest. Has large rocks suitable for climbing and rappelling. Show!

Where to stay in Rio de Janeiro

Accommodations in Rio de Janeiro cover as diverse a spectrum as the city itself. At the top end, you can find plenty of luxury hotels along the beaches of Zona Sul, the city's southern zone, which includes the renowned Copacabana and Ipanema beaches. For something to suit a budget, but with good beach access, look around the less crowded neighborhoods of Catele and Flamengo. If you want to stay as centrally as possible, without feeling like you're in a business district, look for lodgings in the colorful, bohemian neighborhood of Santa Teresa.
