  • Normal. Good for babies and dogs! It is a good walk. But if you are not near do not waste your time. There is better things to do in Rio de Janeiro!  more »
  • Family park. Pretty good for a BBQ area, a children's Party and to leave a bit of agitation. The entrance portico of the Park gives good pictures.

  • We went in the morning around some 8:30 for a picnic on holiday ... We found many dogs walking with their guardians, some without a leash to play running and doing their needs (which were not collected) by grass ... what kind of bothered. More the Park is kind of cute, with policing and a pond with swans, ducks, geese, turtles ... great scenery for pictures and moments of rest with his family.

  • This park is nice to have some fresh air in the city. However, it is quite small and crowded. I personally prefer the Botanic Garden.
  • Green oasis on a side street of bustling Laranjeiras. Trails in the woods, duck pond, picnic. Place of the majestic Palacio Guanabara (seat of the governor) and the stunning modern style Parque Guinle building.
  • Great park with little lake, ducks, swans and gooses. Good place to have a picnic or an open-air party. Bring a towel to relax in the grass!
  • beautiful park with benches and ponds. near palacio de laranjeiras. Open 24/7. nice little place for people who live near by to go and relax. lots of shade.
  • Cute little park with a duck pond and play equipment for kids. A great place for a picnic.

Where to stay in Rio de Janeiro

Accommodations in Rio de Janeiro cover as diverse a spectrum as the city itself. At the top end, you can find plenty of luxury hotels along the beaches of Zona Sul, the city's southern zone, which includes the renowned Copacabana and Ipanema beaches. For something to suit a budget, but with good beach access, look around the less crowded neighborhoods of Catele and Flamengo. If you want to stay as centrally as possible, without feeling like you're in a business district, look for lodgings in the colorful, bohemian neighborhood of Santa Teresa.
