Museum of Modern Art houses one of the most comprehensive collections of modern and contemporary Brazilian art, as well as having a significant international presence. As you explore the exhibition space, venture into the beautiful garden on the patio, which boasts an abstract landscape designed by Brazilian architect Roberto Burle Marx. Marx is also responsible for the beautiful gardens of Parque do Flamengo that surrounds the museum. With rows of angled concrete ribs and large windows designed by a pioneer of modern architecture Affonso Reidy, the building itself is a work of art and will leave you with a lasting impression. Inside you'll also find a cinema, photography exhibits, and the Laguiole Restaurant, which infuses French and Brazilian cuisine.
