  • Here lies the community of Vidigal eh pacified. Here you have a unique view of the city, the beaches of Ipanema and Leblon; At the foot of the Hill still has the Mirante do Leblon spectacular eh.

  • Completely (favela) safe and well worth the hike. A must for anyone who is a little bit adventuresome, not afraid of hights and loves beautiful views....
  • This is a super easy trail to do in rio, leads around 1:00:30 ramp from the entrance of the vidigal to the top, the Studio across Copacabana beach is amazing!!!

  • Amazing views of the city and surrounding mountains, track could be a bit slippery and hard to find (you walk up some stairs and behind someone's house before heading into the bush). Best to take a mototaxi to the top of the favela.
  • Best short walk ever. I advise you enjoy a party at Alto Vidigal and then leave the place 1:30 before the sun rise. You get to ask for the beginning of the path but then it's really easy. Avoid the flip flops though, the walk is 30mns going fast
  • One of the best views of Rio de Janeiro. Getting there requires a motorcycle or shuttle ride up Vidigal. There's a trail that picks up behind the school. The hike itself is quite enjoyable, as you can see the mountains and favelas. Bring lots of water. You're in for a treat at the top!
  • Perfect view of Rio from above. Avoid going in a foggy day and don't forget to bring water because a tough hike to get up there. Usually some guys sell water bottles in the top for 5 reais.
  • Tough walk, quite steep, but so worth it. The best view in Rio!!! Worth taking the motorcycle up through Vidigal and walk down through it home.
