  • It's a place like others who have monuments. With so many attractions in Rio, this is just another. After he died, I see no reason to honor.

  • In addition to represents in terms of reverence to the victims of the conflict, the national monument, designed by architect Marcos Konder Netto and helium Ribas Marinho, is very beautiful. There are the remains brought from Italy of our fighters. Stay at the Aterro do Flamengo. Open to visitation.

  • It gives you a nice view of Guanabara Bay. However, the monument contains little information about Brazilian participation in WWII. You can walk to here from the modern museum of art close by (it takes few minutes).
  • A tiny but important museum on the participation of Brazil in the WWII. A place to reflect and to take awesome pictures.
  • Only drove past it on my way to the Airport, but it's quite stunning.
  • It is an amazing place with a beautiful view and a lot of history about the Brazilian Army in the WWI and WWII. Congratulations!
  • The monument is striking. There isn't a whole lot to see here, but it's certainly worth walking around if you're already in the area. Don't let the military police worry you.
