  • We were in the Mirante do Arvrão just to enjoy ballad, in a Revelation. But we were impressed with the view, it was amazing! Very good!! The Ballad was also super excited. Worth the visit.

  • I'd rather present the Arvrão after the Morro Dois Irmãos, then we went down the stairs and alleys of the slum of Vidigal having a greater contact with the local reality.

  • The Observatory had a sensational views and some of their quartão also has this privilege. I was staying in the room with a view, and takes the breath away. I was lucky it was a full moon, is a unique setting, a show follow the dawn and the dusk. The room is comfortable, the bed and sheets great. The service was very good since the arrival, the reception, breakfast in the room, all nice and attentive. I went to Rio de Janeiro by car, but I didn't touch the Vidigal. At the beginning of the hill there is a parking lot, left the vehicle there and used cab. I tried uber sometimes, but the trips were canceled, so I used taxi.

  • View is amazing, service at the bar is nota só great, the waiter was a bit lost and understaffed. The beer and food were good but pricy.
  • Stunning views of Rio. There is a lovely bar and hostel. Great atmosphere. Live music. I felt completely safe, however I must say that I was there with a group of friends including one who has been living there for over 2 years. I walked alone to the shops in the streets to look for freshly prepared Açaí sorbet and was welcomed by friendly people. Great experience. I recommend going but of course be streetwise.
  • Top linda vista
  • Bar MT caro do local.
  • Wonderful place for happy hour.

Where to stay in Rio de Janeiro

Accommodations in Rio de Janeiro cover as diverse a spectrum as the city itself. At the top end, you can find plenty of luxury hotels along the beaches of Zona Sul, the city's southern zone, which includes the renowned Copacabana and Ipanema beaches. For something to suit a budget, but with good beach access, look around the less crowded neighborhoods of Catele and Flamengo. If you want to stay as centrally as possible, without feeling like you're in a business district, look for lodgings in the colorful, bohemian neighborhood of Santa Teresa.
