  • Very well structured, always with snacks, ample restrooms and answering fraldario also. Clean. All shows and events were very well organized and structured. Very good.

  • I went to a concert at the arena, was in the stands and for being an medium-sized site, I was relatively close to the stage. Easy access of BRT and bus. Has air conditioning and is closed, a good differentiator for the location. There are some snack bars, nice amount of bathrooms. Come back without any doubt for some other event

  • Built for the 2007 Pan American Games, the Arena is the best case for conservation legacy, being regularly used for concerts and sporting events. The point is that despite the ease of the BRT and bus lines to reach, the return can be complicated and even tumultuous at the shows end after midnight. The bus stop and the BRT are not placed extra bus and the range passes of 40 minutes, being the best option for the return taxi or Uber.

  • I believed the city used this stadium for concerts. Seen lots of people on one Saturday night going for a night concert.
  • Power needs to be stabilzed but im sure there are other more important issues to deal with
  • I watched the Rio 2016 Summer Olympic Gymnastics' competition there. The stadium is very beautiful. The open floor space is grand and allows diverse events on this venue. However, the stairs for the seats are not accessible (no accessibility) and the space for walking to your seat is very narrow to the point of being dangerous (you might fall) specially for the upper levels: third level has seats going from letter A up to T. Furthermore, the view is obstructed (partial view) for many on level 3. I personally experienced partial views on 3 different events/seat locations on the Olympics. I would go there again but one should mind that accessibility is an issue and that the upper level seats can be tricky/dangerous.
  • Older venue with infrastructure that isn't aging well. It's located far from the city with limited public transport options. Overall it's okay but nothing special.
  • Amazing alot of fun

Where to stay in Rio de Janeiro

Accommodations in Rio de Janeiro cover as diverse a spectrum as the city itself. At the top end, you can find plenty of luxury hotels along the beaches of Zona Sul, the city's southern zone, which includes the renowned Copacabana and Ipanema beaches. For something to suit a budget, but with good beach access, look around the less crowded neighborhoods of Catele and Flamengo. If you want to stay as centrally as possible, without feeling like you're in a business district, look for lodgings in the colorful, bohemian neighborhood of Santa Teresa.
