  • One of the must-sees of this city, is a place full of peace with a beautiful vegetation and thousands of species, both floral and animal that go over the place, really is a place to feel far away from the hustle and bustle of a big city like Rio. The species has a special and very striking, it is worth.

  • The Botanical Garden is very beautiful but I didn't think it was very well maintained. The Grove of coconut trees is very beautiful and the source too. There is also the Japanese garden inside. For those who like pictures, the place is perfect!

  • Best botanic gardens I have ever been to. Waterfalls, trees, it was beautiful. There were 3 wedding photo sessions going on there. So amazing. You'll want to spend a whole afternoon there.
  • This place has a great location within rio as it is just outside the city, this place is great to visit, it has thousands of different kinds of plants and flowers. It's best to go on a cool, cloudy day
  • The Botanical Garden was created to serve the Imperial Family when they moved from Portugal to Brasil - that's why it is so imponent, with its huge imperial palms's mall, the generous trees and plants diversity, and its special areas like the orchidary and the rosarium. You can easily walk half a day by those trees so put your confortable clothes and shoes. There is restrooms, drinkable water, restaurants and snack bars. There is a parking area but it gets full quickly. You can park at jockey's parking on the other side of the street or around Santos Dumont Square.
  • Loved it! Free WiFi and Pokestops galore for you pokemon fans out there!
  • Such a tranquil experience! I loved our time here; only wish we'd have allocated more than 2.5 hours to explore as there was so much to see! Our one concern before going was that we wouldn't be in the right season to see the orchids (there in August), but they were incredible.
