  • The Botanical Garden was created to serve the Imperial Family when they moved from Portugal to Brasil - that's why it is so imponent, with its huge imperial palms's mall, the generous trees and plants diversity, and its special areas like the orchidary and the rosarium. You can easily walk half a day by those trees so put your confortable clothes and shoes. There is restrooms, drinkable water, restaurants and snack bars. There is a parking area but it gets full quickly. You can park at jockey's parking on the other side of the street or around Santos Dumont Square.
  • Loved it! Free WiFi and Pokestops galore for you pokemon fans out there!
  • Such a tranquil experience! I loved our time here; only wish we'd have allocated more than 2.5 hours to explore as there was so much to see! Our one concern before going was that we wouldn't be in the right season to see the orchids (there in August), but they were incredible.
