  • The Ferry crossings to Niteori manages to pass so close to the island tax which makes it an atravieso with a panoramic beautiful, next to the gigantic bridge back and the scenario of the pointy peaks of the bottom of the Bay, which becomes a beautiful landscape.

  • beautiful place and totally different from what we usually see in terms of architecture in Brazil's historical heritage. Looks like you're in Europe centuries ago. Tour very rich in information about the history of the place and living proof that the brazilian policy squanders the money of the people forever. But forget the political outburst and don't forget to visit pretty much same

  • The departure for the island's Cultural Space in Tax from the Navy the visitor already has many visitor attractions within that space. The building constructed on the island for being a Customs Office has interesting architectural features and was the scene of the last ball of the Empire before the proclamation of the Republic. This fact was reproduced in an important canvas by Aurélio de Figueiredo and at the national historical Museum.

  • Wow such a wonder the Emperor as “one dedicated case, worthy for a shiny jewel.” The building Ilha Fiscal was inaugurated at the begins of 1889 by the Emperor. Among the attractives it stands out the lounges that houses temporal and permanents expositions that reveals the history of the Marine and the island, a collection of stained glass and stoneworks, columns, arches, flowers and imperial symbols
  • It is an important place of Brazil history. Only 3 guided visits per day at 12:10, 14:30 and 15:30. Actually going by small boat to the island. Unfortunately this is not possible to visit the submarine for the moment.
  • Nice, guides are full of enthusiasm. Nice view on Rio. Bookings at the Museu Naval start at 11a.m. and can only be done for the same day.
  • vista bonita a partir da região e, desdobramento cultural igual.
  • Muita história neste lugar
