  • Preserved and administered by the Navy of Brazil, fiscal island and your Palace is a tourist spot that must be visited. It was there that the last dance of the Empire and where the Emperor Dom Pedro II, he avoided the world war of the Pacific. Don't let go. Access is by sea, by boat, at the centro cultural da Marinha.

  • The building is neo Gothic painted green stands on a small island in the Bay of Guanabara. The visit is excellent, especially for visitors who learn about our history, about the last days of the Empire. Arrive by boat and the visit is unmissable. Great program

  • Fun to do a day or the clouds are low. The Palace is nice to visit in the Gothic style, and more ship required to get there. The view of Rio is a see also.

Where to stay in Rio de Janeiro

Accommodations in Rio de Janeiro cover as diverse a spectrum as the city itself. At the top end, you can find plenty of luxury hotels along the beaches of Zona Sul, the city's southern zone, which includes the renowned Copacabana and Ipanema beaches. For something to suit a budget, but with good beach access, look around the less crowded neighborhoods of Catele and Flamengo. If you want to stay as centrally as possible, without feeling like you're in a business district, look for lodgings in the colorful, bohemian neighborhood of Santa Teresa.
