  • Consider one of the most compelling attractions of the city, this because in this cultural space there are some activities to do like walking tours by the Guanabara Bay, to visit the island in addition to Tax fixed attractions like the visit to Bauru destroyer and submarine Riachuelo, the ship of discovery and some military vehicles and visitors attractions. I don't consider expensive prices because the tours for example are all guided with true lessons during the ride, really a must.

  • Ideal for walking next to kids, the value of the ticket is too cheap and gives the right to visitation of ships and a submarine. It also has a nice little store of souvenirs related to the topic.

  • It was hard to find, came walking Confectionery Columbus and we had to ask several people, who sometimes didn't know where we were talking about. We got guidance in the Centro Cultural Banco do Brazil, is behind him. I think the easiest way is to come for the Candelaria is close to where is the Olympic torch. As the visitation from space is included in the boat tours, worth taking a walk and meet the boats available.

  • The big ship is great if you wanna hear more about Brazil in the II world ear. The submarine is cool because you would never guess things were so small in there.
  • Great place to take the kids! See a submarine and a war ship from inside.
  • Beautiful, submarine and a sail ship , next door to a museum.
  • A Navy complex where is possible to visit a replica of the caravel that brought the Portuguese court on their transfer to Brazil in 1808, also has a submarine open for visits and offers a guided nice boat tour around the Guanabara bay.
  • It is a Pitt that there is no other language than Portugues

Where to stay in Rio de Janeiro

Accommodations in Rio de Janeiro cover as diverse a spectrum as the city itself. At the top end, you can find plenty of luxury hotels along the beaches of Zona Sul, the city's southern zone, which includes the renowned Copacabana and Ipanema beaches. For something to suit a budget, but with good beach access, look around the less crowded neighborhoods of Catele and Flamengo. If you want to stay as centrally as possible, without feeling like you're in a business district, look for lodgings in the colorful, bohemian neighborhood of Santa Teresa.
