Is a building located in downtown Rio de Janeiro, was initially designed to be a sailing school of Lloyd Brasileiro, but for administrative issues this project went ahead. It was then that on the occasion of the ECO 92 the space used by the post Office for meetings and exhibitions with participants of the event. Due to the success of the project in the following year the POST OFFICE made a philatelic exhibition and so the space was transformed into a Cultural Center. Looking externally the building is in a position that looks like a bow of a ship, precisely because it would be a sailing school. Watching the simulation of the building from top to bottom we have a dome where the skylight is designed with the goal of illuminating the pantographic elevator. This elevator is original and date of 1922. On the second floor there are Windows with straight Dick, while on the first floor the Windows are the Arch on the sides and ripped in front having body guard also. The entrance door is of monumental stone arch around the outline of the building. In the lobby there is a service desk with brochures touting all the programming of the House. Vale get a brochure and see exhibits and schedules. On the ground floor are located the theater with a capacity for 200 people, an art gallery, a post office and a small "bistro". In the second and third floors there are 10 exhibition halls used for larger events. On the ground floor is also the structure of male, female toilets, a special bathroom for wheelchair users and water fountains. Outside there is a small square called "postal Square", where we can enjoy the beauty of a reflecting pool and a shell. This eapaço has 1.3 thousand square meters. The Cultural Center features structure with accessibility being possible entry of wheelchair accessible throughout your structure. The opening hours are Tuesday to Sunday, from 12:00 to 7:00 pm with free admission. It's a place for art exposition were you can see more than one expo. Have a great space and elevator. The stears of wood have a great design. The person who made it was a great joiner!

I love the architecture, the environment, conservation and exhibitions. Very nice and great service. Too bad you don't have water troughs. Has numerous bathrooms, waiting environments, a beautiful reception. The place for a family visit and other rides.

Where to stay in Rio de Janeiro

Accommodations in Rio de Janeiro cover as diverse a spectrum as the city itself. At the top end, you can find plenty of luxury hotels along the beaches of Zona Sul, the city's southern zone, which includes the renowned Copacabana and Ipanema beaches. For something to suit a budget, but with good beach access, look around the less crowded neighborhoods of Catele and Flamengo. If you want to stay as centrally as possible, without feeling like you're in a business district, look for lodgings in the colorful, bohemian neighborhood of Santa Teresa.
