Central do Brasil is the most important train station in the Brazilian city of Rio de Janeiro. It is the last stop of Rio's railway network, as well as a hub for connection with the city subway and a bus station. Central do Brasil is also a preeminent stop in the inter-state Central do Brasil railroad, which links Rio de Janeiro with São Paulo and Minas Gerais, though the railroad is now practically deactivated. The station is located in downtown Rio de Janeiro, along the Avenida Presidente Vargas and across from the Campo de Santana park.

  • Great central railway line. There are large flow of people at all times. Usually mark as meeting place in downtown Rio since in addition to the trains, subway lines. Despite having always the presence of bouncers, I advise you to be attentive with bags and belongings. Features: electronic Mc Donalds boxes small markets perfumery (Apothecary) Diners clothing stores 1.99 type store of housewares and stationery newsstands bathrooms Already outside, in front, there is a bus station and take the bus to any part of the city.
