With calm, tranquil water and located in a rocky cove, the overwhelming impression of Joana Beach is one of peaceful relaxation. If sandy beaches aren’t your thing, there are plenty of rocks to stretch out on and enjoy the sea and sunshine. Fishermen tend to try their luck on the nearby cliffs, so if you feel hungry you can always sample some of the local marine life they take out of the water. • The beach is good with greenish waters but clean and a good temperature, good for bathing and children since it has no waves. There are few options for food, only 1 kiosk without variety. Car-only access and unpaved, but is easy to find and have plenty of room to park. The beach is deserted, our visit was on a Monday, as the weekends I can't opine.

  • The beach is away from the hubbub of the Centre, access is by car only by a dirt road. The beach is quite small, clean, clear waters with good temperature and lacks strong wave. Has some trees give q good shade. As I went on a Monday the beach wasn't full, so it was a good place to relax and listen to the sound of the sea.

  • Very dirty, complicated access in times of plenty of visit and the precarious kiosk. It wouldn't be a place that would indicate anum friend.
