Joana Beach, Rio das Ostras
(4.1/5 based on 200+ reviews on the web)
With calm, tranquil water and located in a rocky cove, the overwhelming impression of Joana Beach is one of peaceful relaxation. If sandy beaches aren’t your thing, there are plenty of rocks to stretch out on and enjoy the sea and sunshine. Fishermen tend to try their luck on the nearby cliffs, so if you feel hungry you can always sample some of the local marine life they take out of the water. Put Joana Beach at the forefront of your travel plans using our Rio das Ostras vacation planner.

  • Jeanne beach is a quiet beach, relaxing and great for any type of ride: alone, romantic, with family or friends. It is very beautiful and quiet, there is also a kiosk if of interest.

  • The beach has calm sea, with darker sand and the place is very nice for a swim.

  • Well, I was there in the high season and low. and like every tourist spot you would recommend going in low season and day of week, but we know that most of us could only go this weekend and in the high season as eh as scrolls school holidays. So, one way out I've ever done was get there early, and believe most 8 A.M. because you'll get a good place and I particularly withdrawn the 11, as well as the Sun be more beneficial, the beach is literally impassable. Very difficult locomotion, the m2 is mega played. So, tips: go early, and take a snack, because and has many kiosk option. and before lunch go to another beach. I don't have kids, I go to the beach of virgins, this is quiet, because the sea tends to hit a little, but it's worth the visit, visual ... You can even go there about the stones leaving praia da Juana without too much difficulty for children, and enjoy take pretty pictures, it's worth it! In short worth the effort by visual that Joana's Beach offers, but if you can go during the week, there will be another experience and stay to watch the sunset!
