Given its idyllic, verdant surrounds and quaint colonial architecture, Coffee Museum offers a location as intriguing as its contents. Inside the museum, which is dedicated entirely to the history of coffee, a large collection of artifacts--including sculptures, photos, carts, and coffee machines—awaits the visitor. Built in the early 1950s, the museum is one of the city’s most prominent attractions. • One of the most popular and compulsory visits of Ribeirão Preto is left to the time. Closed rooms with leaks, termites, eaves of roofs caving in, floors breaking loose. Those who have visited the site in the past, don't come back, because it is sad to see how the municipal public power left the historic heritage deteriorate. Very sad.

  • Who is passionate about history as I, the History Museum and its dependencies is a perfect place. Although, he treats of the history of coffee, many other pieces and interesting exhibition shelter both in the House of the farm as in the other pavilions. It is worth spending some 3 hours there, in addition, has a green area too hot to let the kids run and is within the campus of USP-RP, which has several other cool places to go. Also housed the project "breakfast with music", where people were dancing. It's exciting. I hope (innocently) that when finished, he returns to operate as before.
