  • It is situated in the Villa of the 19th century, former residence of Dr. Frederico Augusto de Oliveira, son of the Baron of Beberibe, the House itself is an attractive. The entry really is on the side of the Museum and not on AV. Rui Barbosa. We went on a Saturday afternoon. Even the parking lot being great, was taken by the staff who will take pictures for graduation. In addition, they allow an area for the musical performances that occur around 5:00 pm. Luckily, a vigilante got us an opening. The entrance costs $6 and $3 half. Open from Tuesday to Friday: 10:00 at 5:00 pm, Saturdays and Sundays: 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Apart from the architecture of the place and some relevant parts, what I enjoyed most was the Museum's temporary exhibition on Miguel Arraes, the upper floor, with lots of details. In more, thought more information at the Museum, in the history of the pieces, more explanation; Although it is interesting to learn how society lived in Pernambuco Colony Brazil.
